The concept of VoIP migration offers a wide ranged portfolio of services and solutions for a staged migration of ISDN telephony to VoIP. Thereby the focus lays on integration of existing telephony systems into IP (MPLS) networks, while completely preserving the performance features of ISDN protocols and connections to a central IP telephony system. The basis of voice migration is the transfer of ISDN over IP networks (ISDNoIP) using universal IP components for ISDN telephony systems, gateways between ISDN and SIP or H.323 as well as the connection of different locations to a central IP telephony system or a Softswitch utilizing the IP-Access system line of DATUS. ISDNoIP allows the linking of ISDN telephony systems with S0¬- and E1-interfaces over IP (MPLS) networks. Thereby the voice is not tunneled between the telephony systems, but rather exchanged. Resulting in following advantages: Avoiding of multiple compression, short run times, high voice quality, no resource reservation of bandwidth, automatic rerouting when the access is interrupted, IP network surveillance and “fast busy” signaling, linking of S0- and S2M/E1 systems trough interface conversion. Investing in the existing telephony systems is unreasonable. The integrated voice compression with fax- and modem-recognition as well as premium remote analysis- and management-functions perfects the scope of performance. Supported protocols: Cornet-N, Cornet-NQ (Siemens), ABCF (Alcatel), DPNSS (Nortel, Ericcson), TNET (Avaya/Tenovis), 1TR6, DSS1, Q.SIG The gateways establish a connection between the different signaling protocols of the ISDN, SIP and H.323 based telephony systems. IP-Access system line, consisting of the product lines network termination gateway and GateEngines iAGS1 and iAGS4 offers a perfected portfolio, for connecting the single locations for the transfer of voice and data to the IP (MPLS) network, which can appeal through its price. Completed trough professional advice, qualified customer service and long-standing experience at the interface between voice and data, our concept is your solution, if the change to IP telephony cannot be done at once. |
